Ruthiebear Family Photo, 1958

Posted by Phil Morris (Saskatoon, Toronto, NYC, Canada) on 27 April 2017 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

This is the last in the series of Ruthie's family, I hope that I have done some justice to these
highly treasured photos from Ruth's collection. This one did not have the heavy grain that
yesterdays photo had, but it did have issues with lighting. I did not like the original photo-
grapher fading out the corners and 2 children's clothes so I had to clone and bring back the
detail. I hope Ruthie does not mind. As I mentioned before Ruth was the oldest of the
children, and with her keen eye, she was destined to take photos and create
masterpieces !~

Oh, by the way, some do not like my use of heavy colour but if Ruth wants something that
was lighter coloured, it would be only be a matter of seconds to adjust to her liking ! Love
to Ruthie week has concluded !~

I am feeling, more than words can express, touched and grateful for these precious images you have brought to life for me. Your kindness and generosity are so appreciated. But most of all thank you for your friendship. Your artistry is such a gift to us all. Thank you again for these treasures. You transport me back in time with this.
